How to Change an Air Filter!
Ever wondered how to change an air filter? The great Vito and Kyle are ready to teach you how! First things first: Your air filter is typically located up in your home’s attic – but before you go looking for it, don’t forget to turn off your thermostat! Generally speaking, you should change your air filter roughly twice a year. Additionally, you don’t need any tools to change it.
If you have a UV bulb plugged into your filter, unplug it. Then, open the filter door. Pull the old filter out and double check the new one to make sure you have the right size. Then, making sure to check the air flow direction indicator on the new filter, place the new filter in the unit. Even if the old filter doesn’t look too dirty, replacing it every six months can extend the life of your unit and ensure that you and your family are breathing cleaner air!
