There is no cost for this program – tuition, uniforms and cost of instructional materials are included for a select number of successful applicants. The 90-day program runs five days a week (Monday through Friday), including two days in the classroom/lab and three days in the field with experienced professionals/trainers.
At the end of the 90-day program, students can apply for full-time employment with Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air, or several other great partner plumbing, heating and air companies across California that will entertain applications.
ACBI 90-Day Classes
Next class will start TBA. Applications open TBA.
In addition to all of the perks described in our 90-Day Pre-Apprentice program section, ACBI works with all military branches to help those interested in joining our trade as they prepare to transition to civilian life. We hold a special Skillbridge application session 6-8 weeks before the class to allow time for Command contracts and approvals.
ACBI accommodates Skillbridge members who may need time off to complete their EAS physical or other appointments directly pertaining to their EAS.
This program is offered to graduates of the 90-Day program and Anderson apprentices. It’s designed to keep apprentices on the fast track to becoming a lead technician.
This program includes 3-4 days a month in the classroom and lab with direct instruction. For the remainder of the days, the students attend on-the-job training in the field with carefully selected lead technicians.
ACBI 101 is offered for both service and installation in drains, plumbing and HVAC. Our HVAC 101 is a NATE-approved training course with students earning 80 NATE-certified hours.
This program is offered to graduates of the ACBI 101 program and Anderson apprentices. If you were not a part of our ACBI 101 program, you need to have experience in order to join this program.
ACBI 201 follows the same schedule as ACBI 101 but teaches advanced skills and lead technician training.
