Tankless Water Heaters, Yes or No
Tankless or Demand Water Heaters are thought of as "the new thing" in terms of water heating systems. Actually, they are new in the United States but have proven themselves around the world for many years now. On this product ….we are behind the times. Now that demand for energy is high in the US, they have become a valuable addition to any home.
Why would I recommend one?
When compared to our traditional water heaters which store our water in a tank waiting to be used, tankless water heaters are much more energy efficient. They are also compact, provide an endless supply of hot water, shower after shower, load after load of dishes and laundry you can’t beat a tankless. This is because the tankless water heater heats water as it is needed/used. Your hot water is not just sitting there in a tank being heated and reheated hour after hour waiting to be used. Moreover, the process of heating water on demand can cut your water heating bill by as much as 45%. The tankless water heater lasts longer than a traditional tank. The expectancy of our traditional water heater is 10-15 years. In some areas of San Diego, I’ve seen water heaters leak in 6 years or less, caused by water quality. A tankless water heater will last you 20 years + and does not have the same issues with premature leaking.
So I guess you can tell by my blog, Yes…. I recommend them I have one, love it and suggest you consider this option when it is time to replace your existing water heater system.
