The Anderson team is committed to helping raise breast cancer awareness, to working towards its prevention and to use donations raised to help patients and their families within the San Diego community. Saturday night Team Anderson was able to work towards that goal and have tons of fun doing so. One hundred plus Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning co-workers and their families attended the Padre game. Mary Jean Anderson. President/owner explained, “They decided to forego their annual summer party and use those funds to attend the Padre game where proceeds from the game would be used to benefit our fundraising efforts”. Further, she mentioned, “It didn’t stop there. They held up over 30 signs encouraging fellow Padre Fans to join us in this fight for the cure…I couldn’t be prouder”.
Helping to Find a Cure and Have Tons of Fun Doing So
Specific employees with personal involvement held up signs to show Padre fans how breast cancer has affected their small team of 84 employees. Signs included, “My Mom is a survivor, I lost my grandmother to breast cancer, my aunt is stage 4, I lost my best friend and my Aunt was just diagnosed”, the point was well displayed. Of course, a few of the plumbers could not show up without expressing additional views and waved signs in the air, ”Plumbers for Boobies and take care of our Ta Ta’s”. Anderson summed it up by saying, “it was an amazing night…..Truly, in giving we shall receive”.
