As we prepare for the long haul to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the CDC has issued recommendations for creating a Household Plan of Action to include:
Talk with people to be included in your plan
Plan ways to care for those who might be at greater risk for serious complications
Get to know your neighbors – talk about emergency planning
Identify aid organizations in your can contact if needed
Create an emergency contact list
Learn about emergency operations plan at your child’s school
Learn about your employer’s emergency operations plan
Choose a room that can be used to separate sick household members
Practice good personal health habits
Stay informed and follow directions from public health officials
Stay in touch with others especially those with chronic medical conditions
Take care of emotional health of your household members
