Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Launches New Facebook Campaign To Benefit Susan G. Komen For The Cure

San Diego, CA – As we approach Breast Cancer Awareness month the Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air team launched a new Facebook campaign to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure (www.komensandiego.org). Between now and October 31, 2011, Anderson will make a donation for every new “like” on their Facebook page.

According to Mary Jean Anderson, “Our mission is called ‘Operation Pink Ribbon’ and consists of three levels of commitment – fundraising, volunteering and showing our support through our extensive marketing efforts. Getting Facebook ‘likes’ is just one of our many fundraising efforts we hope people will consider helping – it’s quick and easy!”

“Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the perfect time to spread some goodwill and this takes just a couple of seconds to go to https://www.facebook.com/AndersonPlumbingHeatingandAir and click on ‘like.’ Then we’ll make a donation – it’s that simple! More lives will be saved in San Diego County and more breast cancers will be detected in their earliest stages. It is only through collective efforts with business and community that we can achieve our goal of a world without breast cancer,” added Anderson.

Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air’s walk team is also collecting pledges for Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, November 6 (https://www.andersonplumbingheatingandair.com/susan_g_komen/). And every Friday is “Find A Cure” Friday. For every booking on a Friday, Anderson makes a donation to Susan G. Komen San Diego as well. Additional fundraising efforts include bake sales and sales of handmade bracelets at various events around town as well as sponsorship of Bras Across the Bay (http://www.760kfmb.com/story/15236257/bras-across-the-bay?clienttype=printable) on October 1 in conjunction with the KFMB Radio and TV stations.
