10 Year Parts and Labor Guarantee

What is the truth about Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning’s 10 year parts and labor guarantee?

It seems there is a lot of misinformation out there about our 10 year parts and labor warranty.…so in this post I intend to clear it up.

No you do not have to pay extra for 10 year parts and labor warranty. It is included with every split system (heating and air conditioning system) we install. This is extremely unusual. Most companies have a lesser warranty. They do offer to extend parts and labor to 10 years for an additional price.

Is the warranty on my heating and air conditioning system voided if I don’t perform annual maintenance on my system?

Your heating and air condition system is not any different from you car. You car requires regular maintenance to operate at peak efficiency…so does your heating and air conditioning system.

It is extremely important to have annual maintenance preformed on your heating and air conditioning system. Our maintenance contract includes twice per year visits. Once just before winter we perform a full precision tune up on your furnace. Just before the heat of the summer hits we perform another detailed tune up and maintenance on your air conditioning system.

You need to know that performing this maintenance is not optional. Below is an excerpt taken from a manufacturers warranty statement. This statement is referencing voiding of the warranty.

• damages, malfunctions, or failures resulting from failure to properly install, operate or maintain covered equipment in accordance with manufactures instructions

As you can see failure to maintain in accordance with manufactures instructions will void you 10 years parts and labor warranty.
