2017 in Review – We laughed…a LOT!

Dec 22, 2017

Watch how much fun we have with our co-workers, and how much we enjoy our San Diego community!

Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air has been providing San Diegans with the best plumbing service, heating and air conditioning install and repair for 45 years! “Nobody wows clients like we do!” We maintain this high standard of service by hiring the best – not just in terms of skill, but also caring, honest people that take pride in their work and their community. Then we “wow” our co-workers so they are happy and eager to provide the best service to our customers.

In turn, our co-workers and customers support our company, allowing us to pay-it-forward in many ways throughout San Diego County!

If you need plumbing, heating or air services, give us a ring. We can’t wait to show you how we “wow”.

The Type of Co-Workers We Hire:

From time to time we like to share the messages that our wonderful General Manager, Dick Crandall, sends out to our team. In this one, he provides a perfect example of the type of person that works at Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air (get your tissue ready)…

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to take a moment and share a story with you that I heard in 1 of my one on one meetings yesterday. I literally had chills running up and down my back at the conclusion of the story. Here goes… (and I am not using any names since I have not been given permission to do so)

Years ago one of our technicians was driving down the road and saw a homeless man on the side of the road. The sign indicated he was a homeless veteran. He was going to continue on by but his wife urged him to stop and give him some money. After reconsidering he stopped and gave the man a $10. As he started to pull away, he looked up just a head and witnessed a horrendous accident. An accident he most likely would have been involved in had he not stopped to give money to the homeless man. He took this as a sign and from then on he always gives money to homeless veterans.

Fast forward to several days ago…he saw a homeless veteran on the side of the road. As usual he honored the promise he made to himself long ago and stopped to give the man some money. To his surprise the man said to him…”you are the second Anderson truck to stop and give me money today”

To me that is indicative of the type of people we hire. We don’t just hire people with skills…we hire great, caring, compassionate people with skills.

Once again I am so proud to be associated with this group of people!

I thought this story, especially because we are entering the holiday season, was worthy of sharing. I wish you and all your friends a family a wonderful Christmas. Have fun & be safe!

Merry Christmas

Dick
